How does AI photo search work?

Picspace uses CLIP (a visual AI model) to understand what's in each photo — no manual tagging required. You can search by describing a scene ("golden hour portrait"), an object, a colour, or a feeling, and it finds visually matching photos instantly.

How does face tagging work?

Picspace detects faces in your photos and generates a unique embedding for each face. You name a face once; the app finds all other photos containing that person. Face data is processed on-server and never sent to third parties.

How do I share a gallery with a client?

Select your photos, click Share, give the gallery a name — done. You get a link your client can open in any browser with no app download required. Galleries can be public, password-protected, or private invite-only.

Can I control what clients are allowed to download?

Yes. You can allow all downloads, set a per-client download quota (e.g. choose any 30 photos), or hand-pick exactly which photos are available for download — without removing anything from the gallery view.

What file formats does Picspace support?

Picspace accepts all common image formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and most RAW formats (NEF, CR2, CR3, ARW). RAW files are stored as-is with EXIF extraction; JPEG previews are generated automatically.

Yes. The FTP/SFTP Upload addon (available on Agency and Enterprise plans) lets you connect any camera with built-in FTP directly to Picspace. Photos land in the correct gallery automatically.
